2013 Clay Classic!

We can’t believe that Clay Classic is approaching so quickly! The lovely ladies of Delta Zeta and the gentlemen of Sigma Phi Epsilon have been working so hard to make our first annual Clay Classic successful. From planning radio spots to holding banners, the entire chapter is involved! Since this is our first time to plan this event, we wanted everyone to know a little bit about it!

·         Clay Classic is a skeet-shooting tournament
·         We are co-hosting  with Sigma Phi Epsilon
·         The event benefits The Painted Turtle Camp, our philanthropy (http://www.thepaintedturtle.org/)
·         It is Saturday, April 20
·         There will be a morning shift from 9-1 and an afternoon shift from 1-4
·         It will take place at Gunsmoke Shooting Range in Snook, TX
·         You must compete in a team of 2
·         The cost is $40 per shooter so $80 a team
·         The cost includes entry fee, t-shirt, food, and 60 clays
·         Scoring will be best out of 120 so that’s a combined score of 60 from each shooter
·         Must bring your own gun and ammo (ammo will be for sale on site)
·         T-shirts and general admission for the event are available and $10 each
·         There will also be a raffle full of REALLY exciting things (Kendra Scott jewelry, winery tour and tasting, hunting basket, Ariat boots, and MUCH MORE!)
·         Raffle tickets are $10
·         If you are not chosen to win a large raffle item, your ticket will be entered in to win other items like gift cards!

So I bet you’re wondering now, “Wow…how fun?! How do I sign up?” It’s easy! Just go to: http://clayclassic2013.ezregister.com/ and register!
If you would like a t-shirt, raffle ticket, or general admission ticket, please contact any Aggie Delta Zeta or check out our tables around campus!
